Workshops for educators

Professional development for teachers and early-childhood staff.

Who it's for
Adult educators
Format
On-site at your service, two hours
An adult educator seated at the front of a circle of school children, leading a group discussion.

Practical workshops for early-childhood educators, primary teachers, and learning-support staff who want clearer answers to the questions that come up every week.

Who they’re for.

  • Long day care, preschool, and family day care educators.
  • Early-years and Stage 1 classroom teachers.
  • Learning-support and integration teams.
  • Allied-health teams who want a refresher on the speech-pathology side of early intervention.

Format. Two-hour sessions delivered at your service or school, usually after-hours or on a staff development day. Group size flexible. Each session includes practical demonstrations, video examples, and Q&A — not just slides. You walk away with a one-page handout and a list of red flags to watch for.

Topics we offer.

  • “Is this a delay?” — recognising typical and atypical communication development from 12 months to 5 years.
  • Supporting late talkers in the classroom.
  • Working with children who use AAC.
  • Stuttering in the early years — what to do and what not to do.
  • Mealtime support for fussy and sensory-sensitive eaters.

We’re happy to design a session around what your team is actually seeing. Get in touch and we’ll talk it through.
